This cold air system does not require any ECM tuning making it an easy direct bolt on. On the 1.6L EcoBoost engines expect point to point gains of up to 10 horsepower at the wheels and point to point gains on the 2.0L EcoBoost engines of up to 18 horsepower at the wheels! Performance gains you will definitely feel! In addition, under steady state driving conditions an increase in gas mileage should be noticed.

This system was designed to utilize the cold air feed coming from the grille while the airbox seals directly to the hood liner to ensure a cool dense air charge to the engine.
