SCT X4 Power Flash Programmer

I recently bought a 2013 Ford Flex Limited (NA, not EB), and had ordered a K&N cold air intake. A knowledgable guy on the Flex Forum said that to optimize the CAI I should get a "Torrie tune." I had no idea what he was referring me to, and he explained about this device and Torrie's custom tunes. I ordered the unit and contacted Torrie and he very promptly told me how to instal it to get the vehicle strategy, asked me about to list any mods, the fuel octane I use, and what kind of results I was after. I supplied all the information and he sent me a custom tune an hour or so later. He is the most prompt emailer I have encountered! I am a Mac person through and through, so had to a little searching to find someone with a PC so that I could download the driver software and upload the custom tune to the device (it requires a PC environment—my only niggle). But doing both was a cinch, and then connecting to the vehicle was as simple as plugging the unit into the OBD-II and turning it on. The screen is large and clear, full color, and the device automatically saves your stock tune settings so that you can revert at any point—for warranty work, for example. Uploading the custom tune was also very straightforward, and during the process I could see just how much control you have over a multitude of settings, so that if I ever want to fine tune or tweak I can do so to my heart's content. It's also clear that a knowledgable person could customize their tune for the requirements of a specific setting or event. The results are spectacular. I mostly do highway miles, so I'd asked for responsiveness while at speed—for merging and passing—without killing economy. I certainly got the responsiveness. When you step on the gas on an onramp you get the immediate roar from the CAI and instant hard acceleration and a crisp shift. I drive a Ford Flex, not a Shelby 350, so I wasn't expecting it to turn into a racecar, but I got absolutely what I had hoped for and more, and I'm a very satisfied customer. The price is right where it should be—great bang for reasonable buck—and I have no hesitation ion recommending this unit.

love this tuner. its almost like my truck had been sleeping the whole time and sctx4 woke it right up. love the custom tunes from unleashed. made my truck fun to drive. Unleashed has outstanding customer service. had an issue with the shifting at low speed so I emailed them with my issue. got a response within a few minutes, discussed the problem and within half an hour of the first email I had a fresh/updated tune in my email ready to go. would definitely recommend to anyone looking to boost performance or mpg. ill never go back to the boring truck I had before

If you're a Canadian customer, go for it. Then as for the tune, I'll had my voice to the many others and say that my 94Oct custom tune for the Focus ST is just awesome; pulls so much harder. You will be looking at ways to control traction when you get this loaded up; that's a good thing ;) Thanks!

I got this device for my Ford Escape ecoboost, and it really livens up the car! At first I was a bit shy spending the money on something I've never gotten before, but I'd say it's totally worth it. My escape is slightly modded to be about stage 2 and this tune really helps pull harder in the higher rpms. Torrie was quick to answer my questions through email. My car feels like a brand new car now, I love it even more!

I don't usually write reviews for products but the customer service was just too good to go unnoticed. This company has the perfect name "Unleashed Tunning" because what Torrie does is absolutely magic. This is a completely different car you can just hear it that its ready to go and when it goes... My god does it go the shifts, acceleration, Torque, Horsepower are all push you in your seat levels it shifts way more aggressively and i love it. Torrie is a guru when it comes to tunning he gives you exactly what you want. There are times Torrie is helping me tune at 11 at night . For this reason ive decided to continue doing buisness with Torrie at Unleashed Tunning. Best Tunner Company Service Ever.

While the Ecoboost Mustang doesn't have the feel and sound of a GT, it is a very nice car to drive. The power coming out of the stock engine is more than enough for most driver. For those wanting more, the Unleashed tune is the way to get it. I am extremely pleased with the added power, while not changing the normal driving feel of the car. I had read that the shifts were much firmer and was worried they would be too much for daily driving but that is not the case. The car shifts smooth until you hit the gas. It now chirps from 1-2 and feels extremely solid from 2-3. I would recommend this tune to anyone wanting that much more out of a wonderful car. Customer service is as good as the tune. Torrie sent out the tune as soon as I emailed him the required information. Couldn't be happier.
